One Monday afternoon while strolling at the mall finding some place to eat. I and my boyfriend decide to check the resto near UPV Campus since I’m also craving for burger at that time so we choose to eat at Captain Dad’s Resto—a catchy and a good name.
Today, Restaurants are sprawling everywhere here in Iloilo to provide tempting flavors to the Ilonggo who are food lovers by nature. Captain Dad’s Resto is a culinary destination that caters to the modern taste of Ilonggos.

Captain Dad’s Resto is a fine-dining restaurant which serves Burger, pasta and rice meals. Specialty of the house is the Captain Dad’s burger, it is a huge burger, the patty is delicious. It is well stacked with cheese, pickles, tomato, lettuce, bacon, mustard sauce and serve with fries as side dish. It is great for two people and its not that costly.
Since I am a pasta lover, I ordered a pasta dish served with chicken to complete my meal. Their Carbonara Pasta was so creamy just like home made. It goes with one piece chicken at the side. The chicken was small but it taste good if dipped with gravy—such substantial and appetizing meal.
The dining experience was great. The place is beautiful and so relaxing. Budget friendly for those who are budget conscious like me but would love to eat best tasting food.With reasonably priced food meals this restaurant is a growing sensation among Ilonggos now a days who are at eased for their spending of quality food with fine dining presentation set in a likable ambiance.
